FREELY BOUND SET TO LAUNCH DEBUT EP, “HE SAID, SHE SAID”
Husband and wife duo features impressive musical pedigree, songwriting expertise

BRANSON, MO—Freely Bound, which comprises the husband and wife team of Joshua and Evette Dutton, announces the launch of its debut EP, “He Said, She Said.”

The new album was produced by Joshua and Evette Dutton and recorded and engineered at Dream Team Productions in Branson, MO by Chris Davis and Chris Libby.

The album is the culmination of the couple’s journey in music—at least to this point in their lives, and the devoted pair do not plan to stop here.

“We've got a whole lot more in us; we are already working on the next album and writing music videos,” says Evette Dutton.  “We love what we do together and we'll be doing it for a long, long time.”

The genesis of Freely Bound is the stuff of musical folklore.  Joshua Dutton was performing in his family’s touring musical act; Evette was running the sound board for the group.  He knew his wife was interested in music, but he didn’t know that she’d been longing to go back to recording.  One night, at 2 a.m., she shared a journal with him that was filled with songs she’d written as far back as fifth grade.

“I realized at the moment we finished the song that not only could I make music with my wife, but really cool music—the type I like listening to,” says Joshua.

The pair also discovered that they had a unique songwriting method: when one had most of a song done but couldn’t figure out how it ended, the two would work furiously—almost competitively-- to finish the song.  The results were great:  compelling lyrics that seem as natural and comfortable as their relationship.

Joshua and Evette Dutton have already turned their attention to getting the album airplay and exposure to their fans.

“The biggest challenge is getting people to care who you are enough to fork out the money to buy your CD,” says Joshua, and Evette adds “its about finding our niche and helping the audience find us.”

As fans, soon-to-be-fans and critics listen to and enjoy “He Said, She Said,” it’s likely they’ll be looking forward to what Joshua and Evette develop next.
